LITTLE TROPICAL CORNER

Rinconcito Tropical is an artistic exploration of the notion of tropicality. It is an invitation to think out loud to understand the tropics in a broader context and what we should learn from life in these regions. It will be presented as a traveling art and radio event that evokes a feeling of tropicality to consider how landscape and climate impact our culture, politics, foods, and visions of life.

This may be the coolest summer of the rest of your life, and you better get prepared to understand the joys and burdens of warmer regions in case the climate changes sooner than later!

Join us at our Little Tropical Corner for a sunset of music, art, and conversations around the tropical experience. We will be playing tunes and hosting discussions in collaboration with Buscando América KBOO. Dj R-ZOO will be closing the evening with a selection of rhythms from South Asia to dance the summer away.
