The “Entropical Latitudes” zine is an informal catalog for the exhibition at Mata Art Gallery that ran from March to June 2021.
In addition to information about the show, the zine includes texts that explore perspectives on the labor, culture and conditions of palm leaf weaving in the Philippines as well as reflections on concepts of home/shelter in relation to natural disaster and climate crisis. Plus, it includes a poetic response to the works of the exhibition by a very special contributor, Irene Suico Soriano.
